TV and radio focused on Broadlawns’ unique strengths, including its redesigned ER, its early adoption of electronic medical records, and its ability to attract and retain highly skilled medical staff. In addition, we began to refer to Broadlawns as a community hospital and developed the tagline “Together, a healthy community.”
In less than a year, Broadlawns’ vital signs measurements showed that the facility’s efforts were being noticed—and understood—by an approving public. Today, Broadlawns is being recognized as one of “America’s finest public hospitals.”
