Silver and Gold for Strategic America at Local ADDY® Awards

(DES MOINES, February 24, 2011) – Strategic America (SA), a West Des Moines integrated marketing firm, was honored with four Gold ADDY® Awards and four Silver ADDY® Awards at the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) celebration. SA’s four Gold ADDY® Award winners will move on to compete at the regional level. National winners will be announced later this spring. SA’s president and COO, John Schreurs, won the prestigious Silver Medalist lifetime achievement award, AAF’s highest honor given to an advertising professional. The award recognizes community leaders showing commitment and contributions to the advertising industry throughout the years. SA CEO Mike Schreurs also received this recognition in 2007 while SA’s Mark Lunde was recognized with the Silver Medalist in 2003.

Gold ADDY® Awards included:

The Silver ADDY® Awards were:

  • St. Gregory’s Retreat Center magazine ad
  • SA Opera Ad
  • SA Heroes Ad (in both illustration and self-promotion categories)

The ADDY® Awards were held on February 19, 2011 at the historic Teachout building in Des Moines’ East Village.

The ADDY® Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence in the art of advertising. Every year, approximately 60,000 entries are submitted in local ADDY® competitions across the United States.
