Iowa Finance Authority provides downpayment assistance in the form of both grants and loans to first-time homebuyers, veterans, and other Iowans. They came to us for help with a two-fold problem: Too many Iowans aren’t aware this assistance is available, and too many more think it sounds too good to be true.

SOLUTION

SA created a spokescreature, a lovable sea serpent named Arthur who knows all too well the feeling that no one believes in him. Appearing in TV spots, social media, direct email, pre-roll videos, and both print and digital ads, Arthur lets homebuyers (as well as real estate agents and lenders) know that downpayment assistance is no myth, and that IFA grants and loans are real money you can believe in.
