Winning Never Gets Old.

To celebrate 40 years of fun, the Iowa Lottery went back – way back – to where it began with a throwback to the first scratch ticket ever sold in the state. So we developed an 80’s themed campaign to match. Needless to say, it was a win.

Since the first Scratch, Match & Win tickets were originally sold at the 1985 Iowa State Fair, we also returned to the fairgrounds to celebrate in monumental fashion. Together with 1,380 of the Lottery’s biggest fans, we helped set a new Guinness World Record for The Most People Scratching Scratch Cards Simultaneously.
