Des Moines marketing firm wins four Telly Awards

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (June 16, 2023) – Strategic America (SA), a full-service integrated marketing agency in West Des Moines, Iowa, won four awards at the 44th Annual Telly Awards. SA earned three silver awards and one bronze award from the Telly Awards, which honors excellence in video and television. The Iowa Lottery’s “Explore Iowa” campaign, Nebraska Corn’s “The Plant That Can Change The Planet” campaign, and Suma Health’s, “Vital For Life” campaign received silver awards. Broadlawns’ “Health Equity” campaign won bronze.

This is the sixth year in a row the Iowa Lottery spots have won a Telly Award. The Explore Iowa Kickoff and Promo videos were part of the campaign promoting the summer lottery and Iowa’s natural and cultural wonders.

SA created three spots with Nebraska Corn: Space, Ethanol and Blackboard. Each spot features a different “Kernel of Truth” from Nebraska Corn ambassadors, Del and Ed.

“Working with Nebraska Corn on their campaign to promote the positive effects farmers have on the environment through sustainability practices, while promoting the green effects of corn, was a wonderful opportunity,” said Bo Adams, a client strategist at SA. “The ‘plant that can change the planet’ campaign is a fun, light-hearted way to spread awareness about a topic that affects millions of people.”

Suma Health’s Vital for Life campaign focuses on who the healthcare organization serves, how they connect with the community, and the impact their health care providers have in patient lives.

Broadlawns’ campaign — which includes the spots ZIP Code and Health Equity — shines a spotlight on how a community hospital can contribute to the ongoing health of patients, no matter their background.
