Strategic America and the Iowa Lottery win Art Directors Association of Iowa awards
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (April 30, 2026) – Strategic America (SA) was recognized by the Art Directors Association of Iowa (ADAI) on April 25 at the 68th ADAI Design Exhibition in Des Moines, Iowa. SA received two awards for video projects created for SA’s client, the Iowa Lottery.
SA won the Best of Category for the Iowa Lottery “Millionaire for Life” drawing game video spot and an Award of Excellence for the “WIN-oinaire” brand launch video spot.
For the “WIN-oinaire” brand campaign, SA’s creative team reimagined “rich” as a feeling. “WIN-ionaire” gives the Iowa Lottery a brand platform that celebrates every win, big and small, turning anticipation into excitement, and everyday prizes into forever stories.
SA’s creative team also launched a new drawing game called Millionaire for Life™, giving players a chance to imagine life with a million dollars every year, for life, allowing players to win their way. Positioned within the broader brand portfolio, the Millionaire for Life game offers players something rare: not just a shot at becoming a “WIN-ionaire”, but staying one, throughout their lifetime.
“Strategic America is about to finish our 15th year of working with the Iowa Lottery’s creative and it was exciting to have the brand campaign and new game launch as tremendous creative opportunities,” said SA Creative Director Greg Welch. “It’s wonderful to have our client’s trust and see all the team’s hard work rewarded and recognized.”
The ADAI Annual Design Exhibition is one of Iowa’s largest design exhibitions, attracting hundreds of entries and attendees each year. Founded in 1958, the ADAI has been connecting local professionals and students for nearly 70 years. The exhibition awards and provides Iowans the opportunity to establish themselves as industry professionals, talented designers and artists.
