About Greg Welch

Greg came from California to join the Strategic America creative team in 2007 as art director. Before SA, he was at DRAFT FCB in Irvine, where he designed projects for Hilton Hotels, Doubletree Hotels, Auto Club of Southern California and Taco Bell. Greg earned his master’s degree at the VCU Adcenter in Richmond, Virginia, in 2004. Prior to that, he interned at the Richards Group in Dallas, working on Nokia and The Home Depot, and at McCann Erickson New York, where his clients included L’Oreal. Greg says his interest in design was ignited when he received a computer with 1,000 fonts at the age of 15 and he began studying how certain fonts influenced audience response to the message.
