Strategic America, a full service marketing and advertising agency out of West Des Moines, will celebrate 35 years of business with an appreciation event at their offices on Tuesday, October 13 from 4- 6p.m. There will be live music, appetizers and drinks followed by a presentation by CEO Mike Schreurs and John Schreurs, COO and President.

On Wednesday, October 14, Mollie Rosen, EVP of Member Relations for the 4A’s (American Association of Advertising Agencies) will host a breakfast presentation for SA staffers. Strategic America is the only Iowa-based agency to qualify for membership in the well-regarded 4A’s.

“In today’s business climate, 35 years is a long time to be in business,” says John Schreurs. “Much of that longevity and success can be attributed to creating an environment where both our employees and clients feel supported and engaged. The fact that we have multiple employees and clients that have been with us for 20 to 30 years speaks to the synergies between nurturing both employee and client relationships. It’s something rare within this industry and something that we are extremely proud of.”

Strategic America has made its mark by focusing on national field marketing channels and innovative ways to serve that niche. That sort of innovation is demonstrated by their development of a patent-pending platform called Metis, which allows local sales and service partners to create their own marketing choices and tailor marketing materials specific to their location.

“We are proud to be committed to helping small businesses grow by finding better ways to do business,” says Mike Schreurs. “Even though it’s been 35 years, we feel like we’re just getting started, and that’s truly an exciting thing.”
