Strategic America, an integrated marketing communications agency in West Des Moines, announces that Bryce Thomson will assume the role of vice president of client services effective immediately. Thomson will replace Jim Stafford who will retire on December 31, 2016.

“Bryce brings valuable experience and expertise that will help our client services team continue to find strategic and effective solutions for our clients,” said John Schreurs, president and chief executive officer of Strategic America. “We are grateful for the many contributions and opportunities that Jim brought to our agency and clients since joining SA in 2004, and are confident of continued positive growth for the agency and our clients with this transition.”

Thomson has been with Strategic America for nearly 22 years, serving as account group director where he provided strategic direction, program development and oversight for channel marketing clients and teams. He successfully completed AMA’s Advanced Executive Leadership Program, the American Association of Advertising Agencies Advanced Leadership Program and other noteworthy accomplishments.

In his new role, Thomson will lead initiatives within the client services department and the agency. Prior to joining Strategic America, Thomson gained experience in media sales and the client-side in franchise marketing.
