Silver and Ad Pro of the Year for Strategic America at the American Advertising Awards


WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (March 1, 2018) — Strategic America was honored by the Des Moines chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) on February 24, receiving two prestigious awards. Client work on behalf of the Iowa Lottery was recognized with a Silver American Advertising Award. In the club awards, Strategic American, Caleb Bailey, was named AAF’s Ad Pro of the Year.

As part of a larger campaign, Strategic America’s work on the Iowa Lottery “Secret Santa” social media campaign was recognized with a Silver Award in the online/interactive category. The work in this campaign included videos of a modern-day Santa Claus, CEO of Cringle Enterprises.

Caleb BaileyCaleb Bailey, Digital Strategist/Media Buyer, was recognized as AAF’s Ad Pro of the Year. The award is given to an AAF member who has made dynamic contributions to the club and has been an active member for two years or more. Since 2014, Bailey has served on the AAF Board of Directors as the Education Chair. His work allows him to work with students to help them learn about the advertising industry and make connections in the state to start their careers.

He is committed to helping college students across the state learn more about our advertising industry and how they can advance and launch their professional careers. He loves learning new things and pushes himself to be better in all aspects of his life.”

At Strategic America, Bailey has assisted clients in digital media planning and buying for more than seven years. He has taken several opportunities to expand his advertising knowledge. He received the Highest Award for Achievement through the Dale Carnegie training program in 2014 and earned the IAB Digital Buyer Planner Certification in 2017. He earned his Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication degree from Drake University, here in Des Moines.
