Strategic America was honored by the Des Moines chapter of the American Advertising Federation with several awards for agency and client work, and two of our employees were recognized for their involvement with the organization.

SA won gold in the Cross-Platform category for our “helping small businesses grow” SA campaign that features small, local businesses in Des Moines. This submission will go on to complete at the Regional AAF level against submissions in this category from other states.

In the Film, Video and Sound category, our work with the Iowa Lottery on their TV spots to promote the “30 Somethings” game was also recognized, and our work with Iowa Farm Bureau and the “Just a Stick” campaign was awarded in the Sound and Marketing category.

Two Strategic Americans were also honored during the evening. Assistant account manager Kelsey Feller was named one of two Ad Pros of the Year. The award is given to a current member who has been an active and vital part of the club for two years or more. Kelsey has been a member of AAF of Des Moines since 2013 and served as the Public Service Director since 2014. In her role, she works directly with the community to encourage advertising and reaching business growth objectives. At SA, Kelsey works on accounts like Lennox, Exmark, Iowa Lottery and Rotobrush to create and execute strategic marketing plans.

Media buyer/Digital strategist Caleb Bailey was named Rookie of the Year. This award is given to a member that has been with the club for less than two years and has gone above and beyond in their efforts to advance the club. Caleb has been a member of the AAF Board of Directors since 2014. At SA, he also works on the Lennox, Exmark, Iowa Lottery accounts, as well as Goodway and Stoney Creek.
