Strategic America has received a 2016 Bronze Telly Award for its public service announcement produced for the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council. Telly Awards are given nationally to recognize excellence in film and video productions, online video content, and television programs and commercials. The Iowa STEM Council has partnered with Strategic America for creative messaging and public relations since late 2013.
Strategic America was honored by the Des Moines chapter of the American Advertising Federation with several awards for agency and client work, and two of our employees were recognized for their involvement with the organization. SA won gold in the Cross-Platform category for our “helping small businesses grow” SA campaign that features small, local businesses in Des Moines.
Strategic America’s public relations team received three PRIME Awards from the Central Iowa chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at the 2015 PRIME Awards luncheon at the its professional development conference, OktoPRfest. The chapter’s PRIME awards honor and acknowledge outstanding public relations campaigns and projects. SA was honored in the following categories: Integrated Communications Campaign – 2015 STEM Education Award sponsored by Kemin Featured Writing – National Small Business Week Op-Ed Community Champion – YESS Duck Derby In addition, two SA public relations team members and PRSA chapter members received individual honors: Abby Delaney, public relation account coordinator, Outstanding New Member Courtney Shaw, senior public relations account manager, Outstanding Chapter Member
Strategic America, a full service marketing and advertising agency out of West Des Moines, will celebrate 35 years of business with an appreciation event at their offices on Tuesday, October 13 from 4- 6p.m. There will be live music, appetizers and drinks followed by a presentation by CEO Mike Schreurs and John Schreurs, COO and President.
