SEM Analyst

Job Description

SA is seeking a Search-Engine-Marketing (SEM) analyst to join our interactive team. This person will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on client digital marketing programs. SA utilizes a variety of marketing program platforms including search engines, social media, websites and streaming sites. SA also places ads in multiple formats including, text ads, display ads that can include animation, video or audio. This person will work closely with account managers, designers and content strategists, to build and execute dynamic marketing campaigns that drive results for our clients. This position requires a passion for analytics and strong attention to detail. Experience working in Google Ads and Google Analytics is a must. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and KPIs
  • Evaluate and manage vendor performance to ensure quality standards are met for clients
  • Research keywords for paid search campaigns
  • Carefully track client campaigns/KPIs and provide analysis based on the results
  • Recommend tests or new best practices to strengthen SA’s SEM process
  • Participate in demonstrations of new services or products; review trial versions if possible
  • Provide weekly or bi-weekly reports to designated account team members
  • Present campaign performance as needed on client calls or in-person
  • Stay present on the latest trends in SEM and attend industry conferences
  • Support the SA team members with new business pitches or proposal responses
  • Serves as a positive role model by representing the SA’s Core Values
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years in digital marketing
  • Knowledge of different paid search strategies and when to employ each based on goals
  • Experience developing text and display ad content based on keyword optimization strategies

Skills

• Proven track record of developing and executing digital marketing campaigns.

Position Requirements

  • Google Ad and Google Analytics certification required
  • Strong technical understanding of web analytics and call tracking and analysis
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of teams and business groups
