The Whose Cube? series features our Strategic Americans and the cubes that define them.

Strategic American: Mindy Efobi

How long have you been with SA? 16 entertaining (and sometimes challenging) years.

What’s your job title? Production Accounting Supervisor.

What’s your sign? Leo the Lion, like my friend Barack!

When they make a movie of your life, which they will, which song would you insist on being included on the soundtrack? All of the Lights by Kanye West is one of my all time favorites.

Where did you grow up? We moved around a lot while I was growing up.  I was born in Des Moines, but we also lived in Bettendorf, West Des Moines, California, Omaha and we moved back to West Des Moines my sophomore year in high school. I’m proud to be a Valley Tiger!

If you could have any super power which would you choose and why? I’m not sure if this is a “super power” but I have always wished I could be like Bewitched or I dream of Jeanne, so I could blink myself places.

What is your most prized cube item? It’s a toss-up between my electric stapler and my rubber finger.

What is one of your favorite SA moments? There have been a lot of great times here at SA, however I always enjoy when we have company outings to go bowling or to a Cubs game.  Being away from work but with your co-workers to unwind is always fun.

Where would you like to go that you’ve never been before? I would love to visit Hawaii.

What is your favorite current TV show? Modern Family.

What does the last text message on your phone say? “Woo hoo! Thanks!”

SA is home to MANY meeting rooms. Which meeting room is your favorite and why? I would have to say the Fireside Room is my favorite; it’s cozy, quiet, and comfortable and doesn’t feel like a meeting room.

What is your favorite lunch spot near the office? What do you order? Macaroni Grill’s Penne Rustica.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Rich, and I’m still hoping to be!

Which commercial do you currently love and which is annoying you? I do love the Allstate mayhem commercials, however, I DVR most of the shows just so I can skip the commercials. This is probably something I shouldn’t confess to considering the business we’re in!
