SA Top 10 2012

It’s the end of the year which is a time of reflection and lists. The following is my top 10 favorite things that happened at SA this year. (In no particular order.)

1. Becoming Fully Trained in Covey
We finished our Covey training (I’m officially certified Covey!) by breaking into Covey teams and practicing the habits (of which there are 7). A rogue Covey team was formed called Team X. Team X spread the message of Stephen Covey (R.I.P.) agency-wide using memes. They went so far as to put Covey memes in the restrooms. Sadly Team X was disbanded after complaints about things around the office becoming “too Covey”. You know what they say, “Only those who risk going too far can possibly know how far one can go.” I guess we Team X went too far. We Team X was TOO Covey. At least we all got to sign the Declaration of Windependence.

2. Bras for the Cause
SA’s bra for Bras for the Cause won People’s Choice this year! The office fund-raising events were record breaking and the Bra Team took our fancy to a whole other level at the Gala this year.
3. The Wildlife
We made friends with so many insectsAnd geese! 4. I-Cubs and Hamburger Suits
We had a company outing to an I-Cubs game as a reward for 100% participation in United Way. Mike, John, Nathan, Lore and Jim dressed as hamburgers and raced around the field.
5. High Five Friday
High Five Friday officially became a thing this year. Less success getting “Wet Willy Wednesday” to take off.

6. All of the lawnmowers.

Have we learned nothing from Mad Men?

7. The Annual Creative Department Pumpkin Carving Party!
We had less carvers than in years past, but we still blew everyone away with our amazing carving skills. (Check them out at the LINK.)

8. Taco Party!
The Creative and Production Dept. SYNERGIZED and brought in all the ingredients necessary for a full-fledged taco party to celebrate Heath’s birthday.
9. Bob Jackson’s New Car
Bob Jackson got a new car! It was very exciting for all of us. Even more exciting was when the majority of the creative department received midnight phone calls from Bob Jackson asking about his car keys. Turns out that someone in his department hid them as a hilarious(?) prank.  10. The snacks

Have a happy New Year!
