Winefest Posters & Collateral Des Moines’ Winefest is a year-round endeavor capped by a weekend of events in June. In 2008, our client asked us to create a campaign that tied into each event location while appealing to all wine enthusiasts—novice or expert. And, since Winefest’s mission is to raise funds for the nonprofit Bravo!, we needed to do it all on a budget.
We created a campaign with simple, playful artwork to convey a sophisticated, yet fun-filled weekend. The concept allows the event details to be communicated easily and elegantly. We also developed a look for Vino in the Village that highlights the shopping aspect of the cultural event. As a result, Winefest Weekend attendance rose double digits and Vino in the Village had its largest turnout yet. We’ll drink to that.
