GCommerce, leading provider of a B2B solution for automotive aftermarket parts industry, came to SA to help launch via media relations a new cloud technology solution with support from Microsoft–-the Virtual Inventory Cloud (VIC). This innovative, cloud-based system provides a real-time, low-cost, scalable platform to reduce special order lost sales, improve customer service and increase revenue in the automotive aftermarket. GCommerce automates procurement and purchasing for ten million automotive parts, including 2,300 stores and 2,700 service centers worldwide.

This complex product had to be explained in a way that was simple and straightforward without losing intricate details. Strategic America developed a message to make the VIC easy to understand while raising awareness within targeted B2B industries and the media. SA’s PR team developed the message for the media, while the creative department worked on developing an eight-minute animated video sales tool to orchestrate what VIC could do.
