Branson / Lakes Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau
Branson, Missouri, a top ten tourist destination in America, wanted its core tourists, among the industry’s most loyal, to continue to visit year after year for its live, onstage entertainment. To plan for its future, Branson also recognized the value of introducing a new generation of visitors to its wholesome, affordable offerings while also dispelling outdated stereotypes.
SA worked on the branding efforts for Branson and did so by creating TV spots, print ads, radio spots and a new tagline. What emerged was the position and tagline, “Someone you love is always playing in Branson.” SA wanted to show tourists that Branson was a family destination, a place for special moments. Creative executions for fishing, a new urban shopping development, stage acts and convention facilities were created. Interactive media promotions, events and public relations strategies including buzz marketing, media relations and more were presented.
The campaign was unanimously approved by a broad range of community decision-makers to brand Branson.
